First Edition
The Bundeena Book, documenting the early history and colourful characters of Bundeena, was first published in 1980 by Les Philpott and the Bundeena Book Committee.Â
The book has been a much read and treasured chronicle of Bundeena's history and heritage, but is now very difficult to find, apart from the single copy in Sutherland Shire Library. You can, however, find a digital version of the First Edition here:

A revised, refreshed, and beautifully presented Second Edition of The Bundeena Book was published in September 2026 and is now available for purchase from the Bundeena Progress Association. The updated version is 160 pages long, covers an additional 45 years of Bundeena history, features 240 images, and includes new stories and perspectives on this special part of the world.
