The Bundeena Progress Association is an apolitical, not-for-profit community organisation that strives to build a strong, forward looking, connected, inclusive and caring community. The objectives of the association are to:
Foster activities that build social connections and enrich the social, cultural and creative life of the local community
Provide a forum for debate and consensus building on local issues
Advocate for the interests of the local community, particularly in dealings with government and government agencies
Protect and enhance the environmental and cultural heritage values of the local area
Improve local infrastructure and the delivery of services to our local communities
The BPA is an incorporated association run by an elected committee of up to 7 members, comprised of a president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer and other general members.
Our constitution is our principal governing document, complemented by a set of legally binding by-laws which give effect to subordinate rules consistent with those in the constitution.
The Bundeena Progress Association has represented the interests of the Bundeena community since 1940!
